May 10-15, Warsaw, Pałac Kultury i Nauki (Palace of Culture and Education)
Polish Television is inviting people involved in the media, television, film, culture and theatre to take part in the INPUT International Public Television Conference taking place this year, on 10-15 May in the Palace of Culture and Education in Warsaw. Up till now the representatives of 39 television stations from 43 countries have confirmed their participation.
The INPUT Conferences are the biggest international meetings for creative public television milieus. The Warsaw conference will present and discuss 80 of the newest, most interesting, most inspiring television programmes from 46 countries in the world as well as 4 programmes produced by Polish Television: the “Londoners” series, the “Doskonalsi” documentary, the animated “Pucuł i Grzechu” series as well as the “Dolina Kreatywna – what young art is searching for” project. This project will be presented during a special INPUT management session devoted to youth programmes in public television.
The May INPUT conference will take place in a post-communist country for the first time ever. It is a historical moment – the 20th anniversary of the overthrow of communist totalitarianism in Central-Eastern Europe. Due to this, along with creators from around the world, we would like to invite the largest possible group of public television authors and managers and independent authors and producers, mainly from post-communist countries, to participate in the Warsaw conference.
INPUT is addressed to:
-journalists, authors, producers and directors
-traditional and new media journalists
-television producers
-television workers and co-workers
-channel directors and managers of television programmes
-acquisition editors and editorial staff managers
-as well as film and television technicians and technologists
