TVP at INPUT 2000 in Halifax
The following TVP productions were presented as part of INPUT:

"TAKIEGO PIĘKNEGO SYNA URODZIŁAM", a documentary film by Marcin Koszałka in which with exhibitionistic frankness he presents his family, his mother, father and himself, in the distorted mirror of everyday life: domestic arguments, his mother's never-ending complaints, the occasional comments of his father, who in general is like Caspar Milquetoast, stoically taking his wife's nagging and only occasionally joining in her complaints of their son's constant partying and idleness, characteristics that do not square with the image that parents, but especially mothers, have of their marvelous, ideal son. Five years later the film's author has his own family, wife Natalia and daughter Zosia, but a toxic childhood home has left its mark not only on him. Both he and his wife unwittingly repeat in their adult lives the patterns they learned at home.
"ONI" (They), a report directed by Ewa Borzęcka about people who have lost out in the new Poland. It is about those who live in sewers, barracks, garbage dumps and train stations. An oppressive image of Poland, one about which would rather not know or remember.
