"DASZA" (Dasha) by Barbara Pawłowska. The story of a seven-year-old girl who plays one of the main roles in a popular television series in 2002 in which the life of a pre-school girl is presented as a fairy tale. This documentary film presents everything from a different perspective, showing us Dasha's real life during the year here parents divorced. Her games, initially innocent and carefree, later become parodies of adult behavior. Dasha puts on rose colored glasses in the hope that if she loves both her parents equally intensely, one day they will be together again.
"CO DALEJ Z TOBĄ KAROLINKO" (What's Ahead, Karolinka?), a documentary film by Karolina Bendera. Karolinka, an eighteen-year-old mother is seeking a better life, the sort of life she saw briefly while working on a feature film, a life without vodka, thievery, and fights. Karolinka lives in the slums with her one-year-old son, Norwid. She strives at all costs to resist being overpowered by her surroundings, tries to protect her child, and tries to continue her education. She also tries to cope with being a mother, with her boyfriend and his drinking companions, who come and go in her little room. Most of all, she tries to cope with herself. Her life is a struggle for normality. Karolinka is just at the start of her journey, and she's already exhausted. Earlier she fought for the attention and love of her parents, now she's fighting for the future of her one-year-old child.
