Polish Television invites people from the media, television, film, and art to take part in the International Public Television Conference, INPUT, which will take place May 10-15 of this year at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. Thus far a total of 39 television stations from 43 countries have received accreditation for the conference.
The INPUT conference is the largest meeting of creative artists from public television. During the Warsaw conference 83 of the newest, most interesting, most inspiring, television programs from 36 countries will be presented and discussed. In addition there will be four programs from Polish Television: the series “Londoners,” the documentary film “Almost Perfect,” the animated series “Pucuł i Grzechu,” and “Creative Valley, or What Fresh Art is Looking For.” The last project will be presented at a special session of the INPUT board dedicated to public television programs for young people.
The May INPUT conference is being held in a post-communist country for the first time. It is a historic moment, the 20th anniversary of the overthrow of communist totalitarianism in Central/Eastern Europe. Thus, in addition to creative artists for around the world, we want to involve as many public television representatives, creative artists, and independent producers as possible from other post-communist countries in particular to take part in the Warsaw conference.
INPUT is addressed to:
- journalists, authors, directors, and producers
- journalists, both traditional and new media
- television producers
- television employees and co-workers
- channel directors and television program managers
- purchasing editors and editors in chief
and technicians and technologists from film and television.
